Stockertown, PA - The Nazareth Area Society of Model Engineers announces its annual open house: November 25 to 27, December 2 to 4, and December 10 and 11. Friday hours, 7 to 9 PM; Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 5 PM. Holiday shows also will be held from 7:00 - 9:00 PM on December 27, 28, 29 (also 1:00 - 5:00 on 12/28), and 1:00 - 5:00 PM on January 7 and 8, 2017.

Black Diamond Society of Model Engineers Scout Night, Dec 13th

This is a reminder to all persons involved in Scouting that they are invited to the Black Diamond Society of Model Engineers annual Scout Night on Tuesday, December 13th, 2016 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at our club headquarters, 900 East Macada Road, Bethlehem, PA. The flyer is linked here.  We have ample free parking.  No notice is required, just bring your Scouts.  Boy and Girl Scouts are welcome, and siblings may attend.  There is no charge for Scouts, parents, or siblings.

Veteran's Day Event

Next week, our nation will celebrate Veteran's Day on 11/11 – a holiday established to remember and honor those who have made great sacrifices serving our country and protecting our freedom.  Patriotism is a value reinforced by Scouting, so please consider attending Remembrance events in your community to support our veterans.  Next weekend, the Valley Forge Chapter Sons of the American Revolution, along with the Bethlehem Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the 6th Pennsylvania Revolutionary War Re-enactors, will hold a memorial service at the Tomb of the Unknown Revolutionary Soldier at the First Avenue grave site in Bethlehem at 11am on Saturday, November 12th.  In case, you're unsure as to the location, here is a link to a Google map:
